About Architecture Workshop

Architectural understanding. Artistic vision. Exceptional craftsmanship.

Founded by architect and artist Lars Fischedick, ARCHITECTURE WORKSHOP brings together architectural knowledge, artistic sensibility and precision craftsmanship to create bespoke architectural and landscape models.

With experience spanning architecture, art and exhibition design, Lars understands both the technical demands of a project and the vision behind it. This combination allows us to look beyond the drawings, capturing not only the form and detail of a building, but also its character, atmosphere and identity.

Our team combines traditional handcraft with modern fabrication technologies to achieve the highest standards of accuracy, finish and presentation. Every project receives an individual approach, tailored to its specific requirements and the intentions of its designers.

We believe that an exceptional architectural model is more than a scale representation. It is a physical expression of an architectural vision, carefully considered, expertly crafted and distinctive in its own right.

Working with clients locally and internationally, we pride ourselves on personal service, collaborative relationships and a commitment to delivering outstanding results.

Our story

It started with one opportunity

In 2002, Barry Levin of Two Oceans Projects gave me my first opportunity: to build an architectural model of the Aquarius development in Mouille Point designed by dhk in Cape Town.

After successfully completing and delivering the model, I was invited to the dhk offices just days later to submit a quotation for Mandela Rhodes Place, one of Cape Town's major developments at the time.

Together with two of my first employees, we took on the challenge and delivered a model we were proud of.

The ARCHITECTURE WORKSHOP was born.

And so began a journey built on craftsmanship, trust and relationships that have shaped the ARCHITECTURE WORKSHOP ever since.
